A good time but a little risque!
"I and my wife attended the Classic Albums Live Tribute Show: Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II and were impressed by the beautiful sets and talented singers. The language and costumes were a bit off-putting for me, though. I have seen the movie Chicago and understand that the costumes can be risque, but I wasn't expecting 5 women to come out in the first scene wearing only black bras and panties and see-through body stockings. Throughout the show, there were no costume changes, so this attire was consistent. We were seated in the balcony, which lessened the discomfort, but I would have felt uneasy if we were closer to such revealing outfits.
Despite the provocative costumes and language, the performers displayed great talent in singing and dancing, and the orchestra successfully created a vibrant jazz atmosphere. Overall, it was an enjoyable show that I recommend to individuals aged 16 and above."
Very Exciting!
The opening act, called Sacred 13, was worth the price of admission, and even the sound, lights, and performance were all great. I loved how the band played hard while the next theatrical scene was (quickly) set up. Classic Albums Live Tribute Show: Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II still has the power to rock and entertain, and I'm pretty sure he played everything I wanted to hear plus some great songs I didn't know. I took my mom to this since she was a fan while I was growing up and now we both will have this great show to remember. The theater, perfect for size and comfort, was a little nuts getting out of the parking lot.
Disappointing
In 2009, my son, a huge fan of Classic Albums Live Tribute Show: Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II, tragically passed away at the age of 19. His favorite songs were the older ones from the years prior to his death. I attended a concert where Classic Albums Live Tribute Show: Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II performed his beloved tracks and it was a special and nostalgic experience. I had hoped for a similar event at this concert. Unfortunately, Gary Allan only played one old song, "Airplanes." The rest of the performance consisted of songs from his latest album. While it's enjoyable to hear new music, many concert attendees would appreciate the inclusion of classic hits. The heart of a concert lies in the ability to sing along and reminisce with the old songs.
Ticketmaster sold seats that didn鈥檛 exist
"We were super stoked about this show. We get there and the venue tells us they didn鈥檛 get the bleachers set up in time for our seats and so they have to move us. Because we were basically in the rafters, the sound was so bad with echo and whatnot that you could hardly make out what song was being played. And by move us they meant 25 yards higher, way way up in the nosebleeds, so far off to the side of the stage that we had a better view of backstage than we did of the show. When we asked the venue why they were moving us to incredibly bad seats, especially compared to the ones we bought, they said to take it up with Ticketmaster. So now I鈥檓 stuck in this corporate push and pull just to get refunded the difference in ticket cost, although truly, I should be getting a full refund considering how bad an experience it ended up being. We had great seats鈥r so we thought."
